It is flat at the beginning, then gradually concave, with the edges stretched and wavy or flap-like inner volume.The flesh of the fungus is slightly thicker, the color is the same as the cap, and it is egg yolk.The pleats are prismatic, narrow and extend down to the stalk, bifurcated or connected with horizontal veins and intertwined into a mesh, the same color as the cap or slightly lighter.The stipe is 2-8 cm long, 5-8 mm thick, cylindrical, sometimes slightly thinner or larger at the base, smooth on the surface and solid inside.Chanterelle mostly grows on the ground in the forest in summer and autumn, scattered to groups, and can form exogenous mycorrhizae with spruce, hemlock, oak, chestnut, beech, hornbeam, etc. In China, it is mainly distributed in Northeast, North China, East China, Southwest China, South China and other places.
